Account information: Name, email address, username, and password hash when you create an account.
Profile data: Information you provide including bio, work experience, education, skills, projects, and uploaded files (resumes, avatars).
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve the Platform.
AI-generated data: Vector embeddings generated from your profile for matching purposes.
We use your data to: provide and improve the Platform; generate AI-powered job and candidate matches; display your public portfolio to recruiters and other users; communicate with you about your account; and aggregate anonymous statistics.
Public profiles: Your portfolio page (name, headline, projects, experience) is publicly visible at your chosen username URL. You control what information appears on your public profile.
Recruiters: If you are a job seeker, recruiters using the Platform can see your public profile and AI match scores for their roles.
Third-party services: We use Google Gemini for AI embeddings, Supabase for data storage, and Vercel for hosting. These services process your data according to their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your data is stored in PostgreSQL databases hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest. Files are stored in Supabase Storage. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
You can: access and download your profile data at any time; edit or delete any information in your profile; delete your account entirely through the Settings page; request a copy of all data we hold about you by contacting us.
We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Job listings are fetched from third-party APIs (Adzuna, Remotive, Arbeitnow). When you apply to a job, you are redirected to the original listing — we do not store your application data with employers.
The Platform is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
